Danfish 09 - Aalborg, Denmark

Another great exhibition for Stormline, and the first time we have shown our products in Denmark. We recieved great feedback and comments about the gear from users from Norway and other places. We are now working to bring Stormline to the market in Denmark, but also the Netherlands, and Greenland, while we hope to announce new distributors shortly.
Again our famous 654 Crew Bib was very well received, and we continued to experience very strong demand for the new Flotation Bib as we expand in Europe and throughout the Northern Hemisphere.
STORMLINE establishes Sales and Marketing agreement with Josh Harris from the F/V Cornelia Marie (as seen on Discovery Channel's, The World's Deadliest Catch)

STORMLINE is pleased to announce that Josh Harris from the F/V Cornelia Marie and STORMLINE International have entered a formal agreement for Josh to promote and distribute the STORMLINE product range in the US. Josh is known to viewers worldwide as a colourful character on the F/V Cornelia Marie from Discovery Channel's, The World's Deadliest Catch.
Josh has used STORMLINE gear for two seasons now in the crabbing season in the Bearing Sea., and commented that he has simply not seen or used any gear that has the same quality or durability to that of STORMLINE's rain gear. STORMLINE is really looking forward to working with Josh and growing sales in the US.

World Fishing Expo - Vigo, Spain 2009

STORMLINE was again present at the World Fishing Expo held in Vigo, Spain. This expo is held only once every 5 years and is regarded as the biggest on the international fishing calendar.
This years event was unsurprisingly smaller given the current world economic downturn, but interest was again strong at our stand, especially with the new product range and in-particular the Special Flotation Bib.
New Product Ranges

STORMLINE is pleased to launch a whole new series of fishing rain gear products, building on our 45 years experience in the commercial fishing market. Highlights of these ranges are the new Coast Guard and Safety Ranges. These are aimed at the commercial market and are fully ANSI compliant. Already strong interest has been registered from around the world, including the UK, Canada and the USA.
Further products are also in the pipeline for official release over the coming months.

STORMLINE is pleased to announce the appointment of Regan McMillan as the new international Sales Director. Regan is now the 3rd generation McMillan to join the family business, following in his father Graeme and Grandfather, George's footsteps (Note: Regan's sister Hayley also works for STORMLINE as the factory manager). Regan will be based in London, UK, while he brings a wealth of experience, including 9 1/2 years in the NZ Army where he served as an Infantry Officer in areas all over the world in various roles, including in Afghanistan, the Korean De-Militarised Zone and many other countries. More recently Regan has worked for a company providing a corporate governance solution to Directors and Executives of some the UK's biggest companies.
Regan is firmly focused on further globally expanding and strengthening the STORMLINE brand and sales in existing and new markets.
Regan commented "There is nothing better than being told by our end users in literally every country I go; that STORMLINE rain gear is simply the best in the market today. My aim is to see STORMLINE known worldwide as the instantly recognised name within the global fishing community for rain gear. ComFish 09 - Kodiak, Alaska

Managing Director, Graeme McMillan and his wife Florence recently attended the ComFish Show in Kodiak, Alaska. The show is held annually in April and has grown to be a must attend on the Alaskan commercial fishing calendar. This is the first time that STORMLINE has attended, and it would be fair to say that we really were the hit of the show! Graeme commented that this was probably one of the best and most successful shows he had been to. It didn't hurt of course having come from the other side of the world, but the Alaskan's really took to the gear and were great hosts. Even former US Vice Presidential candidate, Sarah Palin, paid a visit! The biggest success of the show though, was establishing a new distributor in Kodiak with Net Systems. Net Systems is a Seattle based fishing supply company that sells a variety of netting and other products to the fishing community.
The success of the Kodiak show further highlighted the superiority of the STORMLINE product range, and in-particular the Crew Range and our distinctive Neon Safety colours.
