We spend a lot of time talking about what it’s like to be a Kiwi farmer. Mostly it means plenty of discussion about wet weather gear. But sometimes it means getting in touch with our roots and keeping up to date with everything going on back home.
With that in mind, here are our favourite Twitter accounts to not-so-secretly trawl.
1. NZYF
If you love farming-related memes, industry new and events, and useful insights from the experts, then you’ll definitely want to follow this one.

2. The Squatting Farmer
Did you know there’s an entire genre dedicated to the appreciation to farmers – in all their wet weather gear glory – squatting in fields for a good photo opportunity? Well, you do now. Enjoy.

We’re big fans of his photography too.
