Why fleece, not cotton
A cotton t-shirt holds sweat against you, then chills you the moment you stop moving. At 270gsm this microfleece traps warm air and keeps moving moisture away from the skin, so you stay comfortable through the temperature swings of a working day — cold yard at 5am, warm shed by nine, back out in the wind at four. The fabric is anti-pill, so it does not go bobbled and tired-looking after a season of washing the way cheap fleece does.
The chest pocket
Most work t-shirts either have no pocket or an open patch pocket that tips everything out the moment you lean forward. The Riverton has a horizontal zipped chest pocket sized to take a phone the size of an iPhone Pro Max. Zipped shut, it stays put while you are bent over a ewe, a net or an engine.
Who it is for

What size should I take?
The Riverton comes in S to XXL. If you plan to wear it mainly as a base layer under waterproofs, take your normal size for a closer fit; if you want it as a standalone shirt, size up.
How do I wash it?
Machine wash warm and hang to dry. Do not tumble dry or iron — heat flattens the fleece pile, which is what does the insulating.
